A Day In A life
It’s all a new, a fresh, keep the ink wet, what on earth am I talking about? Well my new field note is about a day in a life, my aim to get out at least 2 times a week, anywhere with the camera and record what I see. Experiment, explore and have fun. I’m doing this so not to let this turn into a day job but to keep the passion, keep the mind creating for me. Not that I don’t anyway but I feel it is important to always be taking photographs, exercise the photographic brain. I have found I’m spending more and more time behind this desk and thinking of ways to offer learning, photographic knowledge or just to share my experiences. This won’t be a long journal, as I was told, and I agree, make the field notes happen more than them being a long in depth writing about what’s happening. So let’s jump to a day in a life at Crosby…
Freezing Dippers.
I was quite cold but was more shocked that these June sea dippers didn’t seem to feel the cold one bit! Thank you to my friend Jen Spiers for the loan of her wonderful Sony A7R3 IR Full spectrum converted camera, to say I have been having fun is an understatement! I feel the Nikon Z7 is going to get the IR treatment and a conversion is the order of the day. Anyone have an experience with converting the Z7 let me know below?
As stated above, I think I’m going to round this off here with a series of photographs from this Day In A Life project. Keep your eyes open for weekly updates in my field notes and hope you enjoy the photography. Also don’t forget the best way to support what I do is to book a workshop or join my growing community over on Patreon. Thank you
