Let’s Create

A Mentored Journey Into Landscape Photography

Photography has always been more than a photograph for me. It has been a way to connect with people, build community, slow down, reconnect with the world and find calm within the chaos.

Over the years many of you have walked alongside my journey through YouTube, zines, workshops and podcast conversations. Recently I’ve felt a quiet pull to go deeper, not to teach you my photography, but to help you discover more of your own.

This is not a course. It’s not about perfection or competition.

It’s a small creative circle for those who want to reconnect with their voice, their creativity, and the reason they first picked up a camera.

What This Journey Is

A small group of 5 mentoring experience built around reflection, conversation and creative exploration.

Together we will:

  • Slow down and observe differently

  • Explore personal voice and storytelling

  • Share work in a supportive environment

  • Develop confidence in your own creative direction

This is about process over perfection.

How It Works

  • Small group of 5 photographers

  • 12-week journey / 3 months

  • We gather every fortnight for a live mentoring circle… (approx 90 minutes)

  • Gentle creative ideas between sessions

  • A private space to share thoughts and images

  • Creative projects and weekly inspiration references

We meet fortnightly, allowing time to explore photography slowly between sessions, with a shared space for reflections and images throughout the experience.

We begin together, move together, and grow together.

Who It’s For

This journey may be right for you if:

  • You feel stuck or disconnected from your photography

  • You’re searching for a more personal way of seeing

  • You want a calm, supportive space without pressure

  • You’re drawn to woodland, landscape and reflective storytelling

You don’t need to be experienced, just open.

The Evolution And Pathway Of Your Creative Journey

🌱 Weeks 1–2 - Arriving & Slowing Down

We begin by reconnecting with photography gently, letting go of pressure and learning to see with fresh eyes. Projects shared and real world exploration.

🍂 Weeks 3–4 — Finding Your Voice

Exploring what draws you emotionally towards certain landscapes, colours and moments.

🌳 Weeks 5–6 — Creative Exploration

Time to wander, experiment and follow instinct without expectation. A new Project every fortnight to expand and try your developing processes.

🌤️ Weeks 7–8 — Reflection & Editing

Looking at images together and discovering the stories quietly forming within your work.

📒 Weeks 9–10 — Personal Direction

Shaping a clearer sense of where your photography wants to go next.

💚 Weeks 11–12 — Closing the Circle

Sharing growth, reflections and carrying the journey forward beyond the programme.

Dates & Contribution

The Let’s Create journey begins, as a small circle of 5 photographers coming together over 3 months. We will meet fortnightly, sharing space, stories and the gentle unfolding of creativity. Offered as a foundation experience, the £325 joining fee reflects not just a programme, but a shared path we will shape together as it grows.

If this resonates with you, I’d love to walk part of this creative journey together.
Attendees limited to 5 spaces per group

Fortnightly Zoom Sessions:

Group one start date: Wednesday 2nd September 2026
Group two start date: Wednesday 9th September 2026
7pm (UK time) then every fortnight group alternating.
When you book, I will share our session calendar dates.

With a small group of 5 you get full uninterrupted attention and dedication. The smaller group makes this a slower and more connected experience. I’m here to help over whatsapp individually and as a group. This is a very competitive price of £325 for 6 sessions over a 3 month programme.

We will use a Whatsapp group to share photographs, updates, continued help and mentoring throughout the 3 months.

Fill in the form and I will be in touch to get your enrolled.

Reviews and feedback

  • I recently completed a mentoring programme with Mali, alongside a group of five other photographers. Having followed him on YouTube for years, I found he managed the programme exactly as I'd hoped - welcoming, open and encouraging, with every session feeling like a safe space to try out ideas. He listened carefully to every question and issue raised, always responding thoughtfully and directly. He clearly knows his craft and has a real talent for sharing it. If you're looking to develop your photography, I'd thoroughly recommend Mali.

  • I took Mali's Let's Create series along with a small group of other photographers. Mali enthusiastically shares his expertise and his engaging approach to finding and making images, with his guidebook and his personal attention and feedback in each session. And it was great to see everyone's images and share insights. A lot of fun and it's helping me build a lasting practice. Highly recommended!

  • I attended Mali’s mentorship programme in the Spring of 2026. I found Mali very approachable and he provided a relaxed setting for myself and fellow mentees to discuss and share our work and experiences without feeling pressured or self conscious. Mali provided a fantastic workbook at the start of the programme, which has become a great resource to carry forward into my practice. I came away feeling much more confident about my photography and I have even produced my first zine with Mali’s support and encouragement. I would highly recommend.
