Longer than usual
The illusion of minimalism is hard to achieve, it feels like magic. This series was shot on the Wirral, chasing tide times, quiet light and the kind of solitude that slows the heart rate right down. Long exposure photography, done properly, is as much about the edit as the moment you press the shutter.

I’ve decided to dedicate this week to working intently on a video project that I only shot a couple of weeks ago, which includes a large collection of captivating Autuminal images that I gathered during my idyllic woodland walks.
Elements Scotland
The Diary of my time in Scotland running my week long photography workshop. Over a year in planning and a week of experiences in the landscape. Elements 2024 gave connection, community and creativity without boundaries. This was one of the hardest videos I have had to make, I didn't want to make a conventional vlog, because my attention was dedicated to the clients, photographers on this workshop. The key to the success I believe is to dedicate your time, give your love of the landscape and photography to each person, to inspire and show just how images can be achieved where ever you go in what ever the weather.

The Sentinels are three Birch Trees I really couldn’t take my eyes off. The group of us had been walking for quite some time, thoroughly enjoying the experience as we witnessed the magnificent light change over the landscape.
