Looking for Autumn - Finding Fall - Photography with the Nikon Z7 24-200
I’m not going to waffle on too much here, you can watch me do that in the video below 🤣 but I will say this year hs been a great year for the trees, well in my eyes. This Autumn just didn’t seem to want to give up. I know I have mentioned this in a post previously so I won’t go over old woodland ground. Instead, what do you think about Photographers on YouTube? I have been considering some changes. I think I do this every year. Here’s my thoughts:
I’m seriously considering a day in the life, not just photography but some background to how and when I can get out. Whats been happening in life in general. Not Casey Neistat style, god i’m not cool enough and far to northern, Eh up Youtubers hows thee doing! Doesn’t quite work like a Peter Mckinnon WHAT’S UP! I think you get my drift. You know things like, how I dry my hair and what Im making for tea that kinda thing. The meat on the bones of this big boned man 📸
I’m deffo doing a what’s in my bag, why? well I’ve never done one and I think Manfrotto want me to mention the bag I was gifted to make a sponsored video. Seriously! SERIOUSLY, I was not going to turn down Manfrotto no way! Spoiler alert, I genuinely love this bag! I had a Peak Design bag but this THIS blows it out the water. More on that soon, Oh here’s the bag click here to have a butchers. Anyways the whats in my bag will be fun I promise. Also after my little survey on the YouTube Community you all voted for me to make another Christmas Q&A. I really enjoyed making last years - you can watch that here. Editing… I have never showed a peep behind the curtain, and I have been asked time and time again to make an edit video, what would I do in lightroom, photoshop to make one of my photographs. That’s on the cards at some point next year, don’t hold me to it but I will try my best.
Last but not least, my book 50 times around the sun is still in the making - albeit now 51 times around the sun 🌞 I will be releasing that early next year! Very excited to finish it and you all seeing it. That’s not all, this project has taken me ages but once it’s done my next project will be an ebook on the art of seeing. An ebook on how to see the woodland with your camera and how I go about within the trees, building compositions to produce the final scene.
