So what is this all about? This is a the Dene Rally, a steam fayre with an organised meetup from my good friend Neale James of The Photowalk meetup, a meetup organised by himself and Hariet as part of The Photowalk community. What a wonderful weekend it was, a group of us gathered on the Thursday evening with our own private pitch within the Steam Rally. A quiet area up on a hill side sheltered by beautiful large oaks. For the next 2 days, we got to photograph this unique and wonderful event, meeting many lovely people, lots of conversation and of course a series of photographs. I’m still working on some of the images to re edit and give them more depth and character but for now here is a collection of photographs from this brilliant weekend. Again, thank you to Neale for organising the meetup and thanks to Hariet for the food, chats and our fabulous pitch for the weekend.
